Base Salary

$109k - $163k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, maintain, and standardize CI/CD pipelines for multiple product teams, software releases, and build versions.
  • Integrate and administer Git, Nexus, Jenkins, Jira, Confluence, and other DevSecOps tools for automated build, test, integration, and deployment workflows.
  • Implement Linux system administration, hardening, patching, security controls, and compliance measures for CI/CD infrastructure in classified environments.
  • Develop and maintain Linux shell scripts and Ansible playbooks for configuration, provisioning, deployment, and monitoring automation.
  • Administer Security-Enhanced Linux and Red Hat repositories supporting secure software builds and deployments.
  • Collaborate with Cyber, Platforms, systems administration, IT, and security teams to resolve integration issues and improve pipeline performance and reliability.
  • Present pipeline health, tool performance, risks, work status, and issue-resolution updates to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of CI/CD and DevSecOps practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, DevOps Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field plus 5 years of experience; alternatively, a related master’s degree plus 3 years of relevant experience or 9 years of relevant experience may qualify.
  • Current, active Government-issued 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher, such as Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, CySA+, or CND, required at application and start.
  • Current, active, in-scope Government-issued Secret security clearance required at application and start.
  • Experience implementing and supporting CI/CD pipelines across multiple releases and build versions in classified environments.
  • Experience with Linux system administration, system security implementations, CI/CD operations, DevSecOps practices, Linux shell scripting, Ansible playbooks, Security-Enhanced Linux, and Red Hat repository administration.
  • Experience with some or all of Git, Nexus, Jenkins, Jira, and Confluence.
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment and collaborating with systems administrators, IT, and security personnel.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, independent judgment, flexibility, initiative, and multidisciplinary teamwork abilities.
  • Preferred knowledge of STIGs, MFA using IPA or ADFS, OpenShift, OpenStack, VMware ESXi, QAS/VAS, Windows, Active Directory, backup and recovery solutions, Docker, Kubernetes, PaaS, and SaaS.
  • Willingness to travel 10% of the time and ability to work on-site in Huntsville, Alabama.
