Responsibilities

Design, build, and deploy automated test frameworks and internal validation tools for software, hardware, and operations teams.
Develop end-to-end integration tests, regression suites, and ETL data quality checks for telemetry and third-party API integrations.
Build backend integration services and test automation scripts in Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, or Java.
Establish monitoring, automated alerting, and CI/CD testing pipelines across deployments.
Investigate software, firmware, and data integration failures and conduct root-cause analysis across distributed systems.
Define test plans, qualification procedures, and system performance benchmarks with cross-functional engineering teams.

6+ years of professional software test engineering or test automation experience.
Strong programming skills in Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, or Java for automated test suites, tooling, and integration frameworks.
Experience testing APIs, integration services, and complex data flows across microservices architectures.
Strong SQL and database query skills for validating data correctness, schema evolution, and backend pipeline execution.
Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions or Jenkins and containerized deployment environments using Docker, AWS, or Kubernetes.
Ability to own test infrastructure end-to-end, including test fixtures, environment configuration, and operational hardening.
Clear written and verbal communication and a collaborative, fast-execution work style.
Bonus: experience with pytest, Cypress, Playwright, hardware-in-the-loop testing, bus communication protocols, edge-to-cloud verification, event-driven systems, queue-based integrations, or regulated defense and maritime environments.
