Base Salary
$140k - $160k/yr
Responsibilities
- Break complex features into clear, scalable, automatable tests and build testing solutions.
- Test mobile and desktop applications, SaaS services, platform scalability, and database migrations.
- Partner with engineering teams to provide automated test coverage, stable environment setup and teardown, and reliable quality gates in continuous delivery pipelines.
- Participate throughout the development lifecycle by contributing to requirements, designs, and code reviews.
- Create and run performance test plans, scenarios, and automation scripts.
- Analyze performance results, identify bottlenecks, and document CPU, memory, and response-time findings.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
- 8+ years of automation experience.
- Strong computer science fundamentals, including data structures and algorithms.
- Experience in a continuous delivery environment with frequent releases, automated testing gates, CI/CD pipelines, and environment automation.
- Experience with BDD/Selenium automation across mobile drivers, BrowserStack, or similar tools.
- Experience leading end-to-end performance testing strategy for a large-scale SaaS platform.
- Experience troubleshooting and optimizing complex microservices architectures to identify latency and system bottlenecks.
- Experience testing SaaS platforms or complex distributed systems.
- Experience with Git Flow and tools such as GitLab, Artifactory, and Jira.
- Interest in or experience with AI-assisted development workflows.
- Knowledge of identity management systems such as MS Entra, Windows and Mac desktop application testing, virtual machine testing, and cross-browser and cross-device testing are preferred.
