Responsibilities
- Analyze requirements and implement Guidewire ClaimCenter solutions using out-of-the-box or custom approaches.
- Design, develop, unit test, document, integrate, and deploy Guidewire code changes.
- Lead the Guidewire development POD, review team deliverables, estimate work, and support multiple teams technically.
- Establish development best practices, ensure team adherence, and mentor technical developers.
- Coordinate integration testing with QA and dependent teams and support defect triage.
- Collaborate with business analysts, testers, architects, customer technical leads, and customers on requirements and technical solutions.
- Prepare technical documentation, conduct technical demonstrations, present changes in CAB meetings, and hand over changes to production support.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of experience with Guidewire, Core Java, REST API technologies, and AWS technologies.
- At least 3 years of Guidewire experience, including hands-on Guidewire ClaimCenter experience.
- Experience with Node.js, GraphQL, web services, Gunits, and JUnit.
- Experience increasing code coverage and applying Business Driven Development techniques.
- Good property and casualty insurance experience.
- Bachelor's or master's degree; a Guidewire Cloud certification is optional.
