Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end solution architecture across requirements, design, build, testing, deployment, and operational transition.
- Provide hands-on support for prototypes, reference implementations, integrations, deployments, and technical troubleshooting.
- Develop high-level and detailed solution designs covering architecture diagrams, integration patterns, data flows, and security considerations.
- Partner with stakeholders and Group Technology teams to align solutions with business needs, global standards, cost, scalability, and performance goals.
- Evaluate technologies and platforms and provide implementation guidance to engineering and development teams.
- Support functional and non-functional testing and ensure solution integrity and performance.
- Produce architecture documentation, runbooks, and knowledge-sharing materials.
- Contribute to technology strategy, design standards, and continuous improvement of engineering and delivery practices.
Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience in solution design, architecture, or technical consulting roles.
- Hands-on experience building and developing technology solutions, including configuration, integration, and automation.
- Experience designing and architecting business-critical systems in complex environments.
- Broad knowledge of IT technologies, cloud platforms, integration patterns, and security principles.
- Ability to elicit requirements, build consensus, align technology decisions with business strategy, and collaborate with engineering teams.
- Excellent technical writing, communication, analytical, structured problem-solving, and independent working skills.
- Certifications in cloud, architecture, or design frameworks such as AWS, Azure, or TOGAF are advantageous.
