Responsibilities
- Create pragmatic solution architectures that meet business needs and align with strategic direction.
- Lead architecture discovery for new and proposed initiatives.
- Conduct Architecture Impact Assessments to determine architectural significance and impact.
- Drive key solution- and enterprise-level architecture decisions to agreed outcomes.
- Develop architecture patterns, principles, processes, and guardrails.
- Contribute to current-state and target-state architecture development and roadmaps.
- Lead technical discovery workshops and collaborative design sessions.
- Collaborate with engineering teams, Product Managers, business stakeholders, and other architects.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to enable colleagues and support implementation.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software development experience.
- 5+ years of architecture experience, ideally in banking or fintech.
- Proven experience architecting valuable solutions in fast-paced environments and driving difficult architecture decisions to agreed outcomes.
- Experience with CFD and/or crypto is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of cloud-native application and infrastructure design, architecture modeling, capability mapping, C4 modeling, Domain Driven Design, UML sequence and class diagrams, integration architecture, event-driven and API designs, security and compliance by design, and generative AI.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field such as computer science, engineering, or a similar technical field, or equivalent experience.
- AWS Developer or Architect certification is desired.
