Responsibilities
- Review product functional and low-level requirements, system requirements, and system architecture.
- Develop test strategies, test plans, test protocols, and test cases for integration, module, and functional testing.
- Execute test cases, report test status, identify root causes, and drive defects through closure.
- Document embedded medical software product test lifecycle artifacts.
- Create test scripts for automated verification and troubleshoot hardware test setups using test equipment.
- Collaborate with global product development and test teams to deliver high-quality products.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree and 4+ years of professional experience in system engineering and the embedded software test lifecycle.
- Expertise in software validation and verification for embedded software products using RTOS, RT-Linux, or multithreaded environments.
- Experience with 32-bit microcontrollers and ARM or RISC-V platforms.
- Experience testing UART, I2C, SPI, CAN, and analog and digital inputs and outputs.
- Experience with Linux-based HMI device testing and Linux shell scripting.
- Hands-on experience with software test frameworks, automated verification scripts, hardware test simulators or setups, flashing tools, debuggers, and debug-log analysis.
- Experience with requirements management, bug-tracking, and version-control tools.
- Preferred experience with embedded C or C++, Python or other scripting languages, and test automation tools.
- Strong communication, documentation, teamwork, independent-working, prioritization, and flexibility skills.
Benefits
- Full-time, full onsite/in-office work in Pune, India, five days per week.
