Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and develop horizontally scalable, containerized, fault-tolerant services on Kubernetes.
- Improve system performance for low-latency and high-throughput use cases, including low-level stack optimization.
- Build scalable observability architectures for collecting, analyzing, and reporting platform-service metrics.
- Contribute to cloud-native open-source projects and the full product development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with product management and backend teams across global locations.
- Review code and design documents, provide feedback on product specifications, and contribute to documentation.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience developing maintainable, modular, resilient, fail-safe code in a product development company.
- Strong programming fundamentals, data structures, and algorithms knowledge.
- Strong experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native technologies.
- Experience building applications with Go and Python.
- Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong understanding of datacenter design, computing, storage, networking, distributed computing, virtualization, and operating-system internals.
- Experience designing and tuning high-performance system software and familiarity with on-premises, cloud, and hybrid deployment architectures.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
- Familiarity with machine learning concepts and frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch is preferred.
- Experience with hardware accelerators such as GPUs, large codebases or open-source contributions, and multi-tenant services on virtualized infrastructure is preferred.
