Responsibilities

Lead the technical development of the Stream Governance platform for Kafka and real-time data.
Architect complex engineering systems from end to end.
Collaborate with stakeholders to create and execute the roadmap for the Data Streaming Platform.
Evaluate and enhance the technology stack to adopt state-of-the-art solutions.
Provide technical guidance and solve complex projects with high quality.
Manage and maintain a mission-critical service with a 99.99 SLA across multiple cloud regions.
Enhance stability, performance, scalability, and operational excellence of critical systems.

10+ years of relevant software development experience.
Technical expertise in large-scale systems engineering or distributed systems.
5+ years of experience designing, building, and scaling distributed systems.
Experience running production services in the cloud and participating in on-call rotations.
Expertise in cloud-native technology, including networking and security.
Prior experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure and understanding of cloud best practices.
Ability to influence teams and management through effective communication.
Proven experience in leading and mentoring technical teams.
Strong skills in removing friction and improving the development stack.
BS Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience; advanced degree preferred.
