Responsibilities
- Architect and recommend detailed technical solutions that support customer mission success.
- Partner with account teams and customer stakeholders to define opportunities and solution objectives.
- Lead requirements definition, systems architecture, technical analysis, system integration, verification and validation, and operational performance analysis.
- Assess solution readiness and conduct risk, tradeoff, and alternatives analyses.
- Integrate security and compliance throughout the solution development lifecycle.
- Coordinate engineering leads, solution architects, SMEs, and account, proposal, technical, and support teams.
- Support capture, proposal development, customer presentations, and contract execution.
- Convert requirements into total systems solutions that satisfy technical, schedule, cost, and customer constraints.
- Identify technical staffing needs and lead work assignments across concurrent pre-award efforts.
- Develop and empower technical staff while communicating with senior and executive management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Security and 18 or more years of related experience, or a master's degree and 16 or more years of experience; additional experience may substitute for the degree.
- At least 10 years of solutions development and implementation experience.
- At least 5 years of technical leadership of high-performance teams.
- Successful experience bidding and winning work with civilian government agencies or equivalent organizations.
- Advanced knowledge of software engineering principles and methods, including Agile/Scrum, SAFe/Agile, DevSecOps, and CI/CD.
- Hands-on experience developing solutions in capture and proposal environments and implementing solutions through final product delivery.
- Experience architecting in one or more domains such as IT infrastructure, system or application development and management, IT service delivery, cybersecurity, cloud management, data science, or digital/business transformation.
- Excellent communication, writing, proposal development, and proposal review skills.
- Experience collaborating with account management, business development, capture, proposal, pricing, competitive intelligence, contracts, subcontracting/vendor management, program management, recruiting, and solution or product development teams.
- Experience with Federal Government procurement processes; experience with OTAs, PTAG, or agile contracting is desired.
- U.S. citizenship required.
