Base Salary
$262k - $364k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define and drive the technical vision and strategy for Google Drive frontend features and user experiences across web and mobile.
- Lead the design and architecture of user-facing features, set technical standards, review designs, and ensure high-quality delivery.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship while fostering technical excellence and innovation.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, UX Designers, and cross-functional teams to shape the roadmap and translate user needs into technical solutions.
- Lead the integration of GenAI capabilities into the Google Drive experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 8 years of software development experience.
- At least 7 years of experience with frontend frameworks, full-stack development, or API development.
- At least 5 years of experience with design and architecture and with testing and launching software products.
- At least 7 years of frontend development experience, including JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, Kotlin, Python, and/or C++.
- At least 5 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.
- At least 3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization involving cross-functional or cross-business projects.
- Experience in GenAI development.
