Responsibilities
- Own and evolve CI/CD pipeline infrastructure, operating Jenkins while implementing GitHub Actions and managing their coexistence during migration.
- Operate and modernize Azure infrastructure, including multi-tenant deployments, Windows Server and IIS environments, AKS workloads, networking, and environment provisioning.
- Implement infrastructure automation with Crossplane XRDs, Helm, and Azure-native tooling across development, test, staging, and production environments.
- Deploy OpenTelemetry instrumentation and maintain Grafana dashboards and Azure Monitor alerts covering critical-service telemetry and the four golden signals.
- Define and monitor SLIs, SLOs, error budgets, reliability metrics, runbooks, and incident-response processes.
- Lead controlled source-control, documentation, branching, environment-model, and release-process migrations while preserving repository history and traceability.
- Assess and document integration-engine topology and dependencies with hospital systems.
- Contribute reusable workflow templates, patterns, technical standards, and operational learnings to the Internal Developer Platform and platform engineering community.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Production-grade Microsoft Azure experience across App Services, SQL, Key Vault, Azure Monitor, Entra ID, AKS, and Virtual Networks.
- Hands-on experience deploying, operating, and troubleshooting production Kubernetes workloads on AKS.
- Experience with Jenkins and GitHub Actions and with operating legacy and modern toolchains in parallel during migration.
- Experience planning and executing controlled repository migrations while preserving full history and traceability.
- Experience with agent-based OpenTelemetry instrumentation, telemetry pipeline configuration, and log-to-OpenTelemetry mapping.
- Knowledge of SLO and SLI definition, error budgets, and reliability monitoring.
- Ability to work fluently in English.
- Strongly preferred experience with IIS, .NET Framework, Windows Server, repository migration, coexistence strategies, integration-engine topology, and regulated or compliance-aware environments.
- Spanish is useful for local collaboration in Barcelona but is not required.
- Nice-to-have experience includes ArgoCD, Crossplane, SBOM management, software composition analysis, JFrog Artifactory, and awareness of EU MDR, ISO 13485, or IEC 62304.
