Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain existing Jenkins pipelines for build, test, and deployment workflows.
- Design and implement GitHub Actions pipelines aligned with B. Braun’s DevSecOps model.
- Manage the coexistence and gradual migration of Jenkins and GitHub Actions without disrupting service delivery.
- Integrate code quality, vulnerability scanning, and SBOM management into pipelines.
- Manage Azure infrastructure across a multi-tenant, per-customer deployment model, including Windows-based infrastructure and cloud-native components.
- Implement and maintain infrastructure automation using Crossplane XRDs, Helm, and Azure-native tooling.
- Deploy, operate, and troubleshoot Kubernetes workloads on AKS across development, test, staging, and production environments.
- Deploy OpenTelemetry instrumentation and forward logs, metrics, and traces to the centralized observability stack.
- Build Grafana dashboards and Azure Monitor alert rules for critical services and define SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets.
- Lead repository, documentation, branching, environment-model, and release-process migrations while preserving history and traceability.
- Document the product’s integration engine topology and dependencies.
- Create operational runbooks, participate in incident response and blameless postmortems, and contribute reusable platform patterns to the Internal Developer Platform.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or a related discipline.
- Production-grade Microsoft Azure operations across App Services, SQL, Key Vault, Azure Monitor, Entra ID, AKS, and Virtual Networks.
- Hands-on deployment, operations, and troubleshooting of production Kubernetes workloads on AKS.
- Experience operating Jenkins and building GitHub Actions pipelines.
- Experience planning and executing controlled source-control migrations while preserving repository history and traceability.
- Experience with agent-based OpenTelemetry instrumentation and telemetry pipeline configuration.
- Ability to define SLIs and SLOs from scratch and apply SRE and error-budget practices.
- Fluent English for collaboration across the Center of Competence.
- Strongly preferred experience with IIS, .NET Framework, Windows Server, legacy and modern toolchain coexistence, integration-engine topology, and regulated or compliance-aware environments.
- Experience with ArgoCD, Crossplane, SBOM management, software composition analysis, or JFrog Artifactory is a plus.
- Awareness of EU MDR, ISO 13485, or IEC 62304 is a plus.
- Spanish is useful for local collaboration in Barcelona but is not required.
