Responsibilities
- Develop existing and new cloud platform services supporting secure IoT connections, connected devices, and scalable web applications.
- Design and implement cloud-based products using cloud-native architecture principles and Microsoft Azure.
- Build backend services using at least two general-purpose programming languages.
- Deploy, manage, and automate cloud applications and infrastructure using Docker, Kubernetes, and infrastructure-as-code tools.
- Collaborate with software developers, architects, system engineers, UX engineers, quality engineers, and product owners.
- Improve implementation quality through code reviews, documentation reviews, release documentation, and continuous improvement.
- Mentor and support junior software developers.
Requirements
- Several years of industry experience in software development.
- Strong experience designing and developing cloud-based applications, particularly with Microsoft Azure.
- Deep understanding of cloud-native architecture principles, patterns, and best practices.
- Proficiency in at least two backend or general-purpose languages such as C#, Java, Go, Rust, or Python.
- Working knowledge of relational and NoSQL database technologies.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and common infrastructure-as-code tools.
- Hands-on experience with Agile development processes such as Scrum.
- Clear and responsible communication in English.
- Healthcare industry experience or comparable experience is desirable.
- Spanish and German language skills are nice to have.
