Responsibilities
- Work directly with clients and internal architects to understand business priorities and translate them into AI-enabled solutions.
- Build and deploy agentic AI systems end-to-end, from working prototypes to production-grade deployments.
- Configure and deploy pre-built agentic products into client environments.
- Design solutions using the Avanade Agentic Platform and Microsoft AI stack, including Copilot Studio and Azure AI Foundry.
- Develop across front end, APIs, data, and agent orchestration to ship complete solutions.
- Evaluate agentic systems for retrieval, tool use, failure handling, accuracy, and guardrails before release.
- Apply agent-native engineering practices including automated evaluation, reusable components, observability, and production operations.
- Maintain alignment between delivered systems and measurable client outcomes.
- Contribute reusable components, patterns, and assets to the APAC IP library and Avanade Agentic Platform.
- Operate autonomously in client environments and communicate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in software or AI engineering with production systems to demonstrate.
- Strong practical command of Azure AI Foundry, Copilot Studio, Azure OpenAI, and agent orchestration; equivalent depth on another stack may be considered if transferable.
- Full-stack capability across front end, APIs, data, and agent orchestration.
- Experience building and evaluating agentic systems, including retrieval, tool use, and failure handling.
- Experience turning prototypes into production systems at pace.
- Comfort working with high autonomy in client environments and directly with stakeholders.
- Ability to discuss business priorities as well as technical implementation with client stakeholders.
