Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy software applications and distributed transaction systems.
- Modify, document, and maintain software to ensure high reliability and availability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional, product, and business teams to solve advanced technical challenges and align technology initiatives with business objectives.
- Analyze system requirements and deliver technical solutions that improve software quality and efficiency.
- Perform code reviews and automated testing to maintain high-quality code standards.
- Support card network capabilities including authorization, routing, tokenization, clearing, settlement, and partner connectivity.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or comparable experience.
- At least 6 years of hands-on experience building scalable, high-performance platforms and microservices.
- Strong proficiency in Java and microservice architecture.
- Experience with application design, software development, automated testing, object-oriented design, and coding in multiple languages.
- Experience with distributed systems, algorithms, and relational databases, plus knowledge of NoSQL databases.
- Experience with Agile software development practices, including Scrum, Kanban, iterations, and user stories.
- Experience with automated, functional, and performance testing and technical documentation.
