Responsibilities

  • Identify and prioritize opportunities for AI, automation, scripting, data processing, and workflow integration to improve engineering productivity.
  • Develop and maintain AI and automation tools for log analysis, result summarization, debug triage, issue tracking, reporting, documentation, and status consolidation.
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy automation solutions using Python and other programming languages.
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for software delivery and deployment.
  • Collaborate with frontend and backend developers to create user interfaces and backend systems.
  • Integrate AI/ML frameworks and concepts into software applications.
  • Create technical documentation, code documentation, and user guides.
  • Partner with design, verification, validation, firmware, and platform stakeholders to address engineering workflow challenges.
  • Convert manual workflows into reusable, scalable, and documented automation assets.
  • Define measurable success criteria for automation initiatives and ensure AI outputs are reviewable, traceable, technically grounded, and aligned with responsible data-handling practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field.
  • Seasoned experience identifying productivity gaps, designing scalable automation solutions, and delivering adopted AI-enabled tools.
  • Semiconductor industry experience and familiarity with post-silicon validation methodologies are preferred.
  • Experience with PCIe, CXL, xGMI, UALink, SoC platform bring-up, firmware debug, silicon validation, or server platform execution is preferred.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and applications in hardware and software development.
  • Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Relevant technology or framework certifications, such as AWS Certified Developer or TensorFlow Developer Certificate, is preferred.
  • Proficiency in one or more of Python, C, C++, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Git, pytest, HTML, CSS, React, Angular, SQL, NoSQL, and Node.js is preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and mentoring abilities.
