Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture and design of enterprise-scale data solutions on Azure.
- Serve as the Microsoft Fabric subject matter expert and direct implementation and best practices.
- Develop end-to-end data pipelines covering ingestion, transformation, and storage strategies.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications with stakeholders.
- Ensure data security, governance, and compliance across cloud environments.
- Mentor junior architects and engineers on Azure services and Microsoft Fabric capabilities.
Requirements
- 13+ years of experience as an Azure Solutions Architect or in a comparable senior technical leadership role.
- Bachelor’s and master’s degrees in computer science, engineering, or information systems.
- Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Data Factory.
- Strong understanding of Data Lakehouse architecture and Delta Lake.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, or Spark.
- Experience leading architecture discussions with business and engineering leaders.
- Relevant professional certifications are a plus.
