Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain web applications using ASP.NET Core.
- Develop and enhance RESTful APIs with ASP.NET Core Web API.
- Build MVC-based applications and responsive interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Design and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, database objects, and database performance.
- Troubleshoot software defects and performance issues and resolve production problems.
- Manage source code with Azure Git or GitHub and participate in code reviews.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Support application deployment, maintenance, and AWS-hosted redundant database environments.
- Document software designs, technical specifications, and development procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of software development experience.
- Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio or Visual Studio Code.
- Knowledge of C# and experience with ASP.NET Core Web Applications and ASP.NET Core Web API.
- Understanding of MVC architecture and object-oriented programming concepts.
- Experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Microsoft SQL Server, and MySQL.
- Ability to write complex SQL queries, create and modify stored procedures, and perform database tuning and optimization.
- Experience with SSMS or MySQL Workbench and Azure Git, GitHub, or equivalent source control systems.
- Preferred experience includes IIS administration, GitHub Copilot, AWS Bedrock, generative AI, cloud application deployment, and Microsoft Power Platform.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, teamwork, independent work, and task-management abilities.
