Responsibilities
- Design and implement application-level architecture for complex enterprise software projects.
- Develop Java-based digital vault and e-signature applications, components, and subsystems.
- Design and build cloud-enabled distributed systems and responsive web applications.
- Participate in architecture design teams and advise on technical strategy.
- Develop and review test plans, recommend development testing tools and methodologies, and ensure QA readiness.
- Create documentation and establish full project life cycle plans across multiple platforms.
- Plan and coordinate complex schedules and assignments for multiple projects while meeting goals on time and on budget.
- Assess and manage project risks and serve as a liaison between business units and technology teams.
- Provide technology solutions, technical estimates, and performance improvements for development initiatives.
- Mentor junior team members and perform independent technical and functional analysis.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field and five years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree in one of those fields and three years of relevant experience.
- Experience designing and building enterprise-level software, including web development, system analysis, technical design, and release and build management.
- Demonstrated expertise with Java, Spring, Spring Boot, microservices, Apache Kafka, Avi, HazelCache, and Executor Thread Pools for distributed systems and performance optimization.
- Demonstrated expertise developing responsive web applications with JavaScript, TypeScript, AngularJS, Angular, HTML5, CSS, Jasmine, Karma, Node.js, OAuth, and SAML.
- Demonstrated expertise applying DevOps practices with Jenkins, IBM uDeploy, Sonar, JProfiler, and VisualVM.
- Demonstrated expertise designing Oracle database schemas, PL/SQL, stored procedures, transactional SQL, caching layers, and query and execution plan analysis.
