Base Salary

$126k - $129k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Analyze complex system requirements and design scalable cloud-native software solutions in AWS.
  • Develop and maintain full-stack geospatial applications using ESRI technologies, including map creation and geocoding.
  • Develop frontend applications using Angular and write clean, efficient code.
  • Use Terraform, Docker, and Amazon ECS for infrastructure automation and containerized deployments.
  • Use Claude and other AI tools to improve code generation, debugging, documentation, and development productivity.
  • Manage software configuration and pipelines in GitLab.
  • Conduct testing, debugging, code reviews, performance optimization, and production troubleshooting.
  • Create technical documentation, including data flow diagrams and architecture documentation.
  • Provide technical direction and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver project deadlines.

Requirements

  • Minimum seven years of programmer/analyst experience developing software according to SDLCs and delivering complex applications.
  • Minimum three years of hands-on experience with AWS services and modern web frameworks, including Angular, .NET, ECS, and Terraform.
  • Experience with AWS services including ECS, S3, RDS, Lambda, and API Gateway, as well as Docker and cloud-native architecture patterns.
  • Experience with Claude or similar AI tools such as ChatGPT or GitHub Copilot, including prompt engineering for development use cases.
  • Experience with ESRI technologies, including ArcGIS, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Server, related APIs, interactive maps, spatial analysis, geocoding, and AWS integration.
  • Knowledge of relational and NoSQL database development, design, and optimization.
  • Experience in system analysis, solution design, translating business requirements into technical solutions, and providing technical direction.
  • Strong programming skills, Angular proficiency, modern web development knowledge, and technical documentation ability.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related IT field, or equivalent experience.
  • U.S. citizenship is required; AWS certifications are preferred.
