Responsibilities

Collaborate with product managers and developers to understand product requirements and design specifications.
Develop comprehensive test strategies and detailed test plans.
Write and coordinate reviews of functional and integration test cases.
Execute tests, publish reports, and communicate results to product and business stakeholders.
Track quality metrics including defect density, test coverage, and open defect counts.
Design and develop test automation approaches and scripts.
Own testing, test script development, and configuration management.
Create mocks and stubs for isolated component and integration testing.
Serve as the primary testing contact for product managers and developers to ensure requirements are testable and understood.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related engineering discipline.
At least 7 years of Quality Engineering experience.
Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and testing approaches.
Strong programming skills in Java, TypeScript, or JavaScript focused on test automation.
Experience testing APIs, microservices, mobile native applications, and web applications.
Knowledge of SQL, NoSQL databases, and pub-sub technologies.
Proficiency with Linux/Unix environments and cloud infrastructure including GCP and Docker.
Experience with non-functional testing, including performance, security, and monitoring/alerting.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Harness.
Familiarity with Jira, test case management, Postman, Playwright, Selenium, and RestAssured.
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, debugging, communication, and collaboration skills.
