Responsibilities
- Drive the end-to-end quality engineering strategy for Core Management System functional areas.
- Design, develop, and evolve automation frameworks for functional and non-functional validation.
- Define automation-first quality practices across CI/CD pipelines and quality gates.
- Apply AI-powered test automation tools to improve coverage and defect detection.
- Validate functional, integration, system, API, performance, reliability, and end-to-end behaviors.
- Validate large-scale data ingestion, ETL, streaming, event-driven systems, and observability workflows.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and operations teams to identify quality risks and establish quality standards.
- Mentor QA and automation engineers and provide technical leadership.
- Drive continuous improvement in test strategies, observability-driven validation, and quality processes.
- Serve as Scrum Master for a SAFe agile team and support planning and execution of team objectives.
Requirements
- Engineering degree and 8+ years of experience in test automation, quality engineering, and cloud-native application validation.
- Experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift, microservices, and distributed systems.
- Expertise designing and implementing scalable test automation frameworks.
- Hands-on experience validating data ingestion, ETL, streaming, and event-driven systems with Kafka, ClickHouse, VictoriaMetrics, and MariaDB.
- Strong knowledge of observability and telemetry platforms, including OpenTelemetry, OTLP, PromQL, VMQL, metrics, logs, traces, and monitoring workflows.
- Understanding of telecom network management, SNMP, 3GPP standards, and network function monitoring.
- Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, containerized deployments, Jenkins, Helm, and Kubernetes is desirable.
- Experience with scalability, performance, resiliency, reliability, failover, and high-availability testing is desirable.
- Prior Scrum Master experience is preferred.
