Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and automated test suites for cloud-native observability solutions.
  • Develop and maintain end-to-end test automation frameworks and CI/CD-integrated pipelines.
  • Investigate, reproduce, and validate software defects and customer-reported issues while supporting root cause analysis and defect prevention.
  • Validate distributed systems, microservices, REST APIs, and Kubernetes-based deployments for operational readiness.
  • Perform regression, performance, reliability, upgrade, deployment, and platform-level testing.
  • Drive escaped defect analysis, data-driven quality improvements, and quality engineering best practices.
  • Collaborate with development, product, and operations teams to improve product quality, reliability, scalability, and release readiness.
  • Apply AI-powered testing tools and intelligent automation techniques where appropriate.

Requirements

  • Engineering degree and 5+ years of experience in system testing, QA automation, or quality engineering for cloud-native, distributed, or enterprise software products.
  • Strong hands-on experience designing and implementing test automation frameworks, API testing, end-to-end system validation, regression testing, and CI/CD-integrated automation.
  • Expertise validating microservices-based applications, distributed systems, REST APIs, and complex multi-component deployments.
  • Experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift, containers, and Helm, including deployment validation, troubleshooting, upgrade testing, and platform verification.
  • Experience testing large-scale data ingestion, streaming, and observability platforms involving Kafka and telemetry pipelines.
  • Knowledge of metrics, logs, traces, OpenTelemetry, OTLP, PromQL, VMQL, VictoriaMetrics, and monitoring-driven validation.
  • Experience with Jenkins, performance testing, reliability testing, defect analysis, escaped defect analysis, debugging, and root cause analysis.
  • Preferred experience with AI-powered testing, intelligent test automation, AI-assisted quality engineering, observability or AIOps-driven validation, telecom network management, network analytics, autonomous networks, and Agile/Scrum environments.
