Responsibilities
- Lead the design and architecture of complex systems and services for scalability, reliability, and security.
- Architect and develop scalable full-stack applications across web, mobile, backend, and platform areas.
- Set technical direction across multiple teams and influence the engineering roadmap.
- Mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, and promote code quality, testing, maintainability, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and other cross-functional teams to deliver solutions aligned with business goals.
- Troubleshoot and debug complex production issues and evaluate new tools and technologies.
- Participate in recruitment, interviewing, and onboarding to grow the engineering team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 2+ years in a senior or staff-level engineering role.
- Expertise designing and building full-stack applications.
- Strong programming skills in Ruby on Rails.
- Experience leading engineering initiatives and mentoring engineers.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
