Base Salary
$160k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Embed with engineering teams for one or two sprints at a time to deploy and improve adoption of Dow Jones’s AI-assisted development platform.
- Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable, reliable, and secure software applications and services across front-end, back-end, and cloud environments.
- Recommend practical solutions to improve architectures, performance, automation, integration, and continuous delivery.
- Guide and mentor less experienced colleagues and communicate across product, data, and design teams.
- Feed lessons from team engagements back into the platform to improve engineering productivity across the organization.
Requirements
- 7+ years of relevant experience in software engineering, programming, or a related technical discipline.
- Expertise coding and building scalable, performant, and secure software architectures, with the ability to adapt policies and practices as needed.
- Experience guiding workstreams and applying software quality, automation, and continuous delivery practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
