Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end technical design and architecture for complex, scalable, and resilient full-stack systems.
- Provide technical leadership through development standards, code reviews, implementation guidance, and engineering mentoring.
- Break down complex features into technical tasks, estimates, sprint deliverables, and release plans.
- Architect and develop secure, versioned, and documented APIs and backend services using .NET or equivalent platforms.
- Drive frontend architecture, state management, performance optimization, accessibility, and consistent user experience using modern SPA frameworks.
- Establish automated testing strategies, code quality gates, CI/CD standards, and Definition of Done practices.
- Lead Azure or AWS cloud architecture and deployment, including serverless components, containers, monitoring, telemetry, and cost-aware design.
- Champion secure SDLC practices, threat modeling, authentication, authorization, secrets management, and compliance.
- Use AI-assisted engineering tools for architecture exploration, code generation, refactoring, documentation, and test creation while validating outputs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Typically 8+ years of professional software engineering experience with progressive responsibility and technical leadership of full-stack or .NET-based enterprise solutions.
- Expertise with React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, SPA architecture, performance optimization, and accessibility.
- Deep expertise in C#, .NET 6/7/8, ASP.NET Core, Node.js background services, distributed systems, microservices, messaging, and resiliency patterns.
- Experience with SQL Server, relational and NoSQL databases, Entity Framework Core, data architecture, integration, and performance tuning.
- Advanced API design and governance experience, including REST standards, versioning, documentation, backward compatibility, and API security.
- Experience designing CI/CD pipelines, source-control strategies, automated testing, Docker containerization, and blue/green or canary deployments.
- Extensive Azure or AWS architecture experience, including App Services, Functions, Service Bus or event platforms, Key Vault, identity, monitoring, and operational readiness.
- Hands-on security leadership involving OWASP practices, OAuth2/OIDC, threat modeling, secure coding, and regulated environments.
- Experience designing AI-assisted engineering workflows with tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude, including prompt engineering, output validation, and responsible AI usage.
- Strong problem-solving, performance engineering, debugging, stakeholder communication, and risk-management skills.
