Base Salary
$168k - $178k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate resilient, low-latency microservices and data pipelines.
- Partner with machine learning and data science to productionize models and features.
- Own services end-to-end, from technical design to implementation and observability.
- Drive reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency through SLOs and performance optimization.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to define roadmaps and deliver measurable impacts.
- Mentor other engineers through code reviews and contributions to best practices.
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional software engineering experience in backend services or distributed systems.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language: Go, Java, Python, or Scala.
- Hands-on experience with microservices on a major cloud provider using containers/orchestration.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with event streaming and data stores.
- Proven ownership of production services and participation in an on-call rotation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
