Base Salary
$157k - $184k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain Athena clearing-house components in Go on GCP, including customer onboarding, entitlement logic, and data ingestion pipelines.
- Design, implement, and operate backend systems that process unstructured data and produce structured, validated outputs.
- Own features and subsystems from design through production with appropriate testing and observability.
- Design and operate reliable agentic workflows that automate complex multi-step tasks across production systems.
- Participate in on-call rotations, incident response, monitoring, alerting, graceful degradation, and postmortems.
- Lead multi-engineer efforts, review code, provide feedback, and raise engineering standards.
- Contribute infrastructure-as-code and operational tooling using Terraform and GCP-native tooling.
Requirements
- Production experience shipping and maintaining backend systems.
- Strong Go engineering skills and experience with GCP and Terraform.
- Experience parsing, validating, and deduplicating unstructured data.
- Experience working in teams focused on operational excellence, including monitoring, alerting, and graceful degradation.
- Ability to independently scope and drive features with minimal oversight.
- Experience with agentic AI workflows.
- Experience with customer-facing APIs or workflow systems is preferred.
- Security or infrastructure domain knowledge is preferred.
- Experience in the security vulnerability domain, coordinated disclosure, or CVE publication is a nice-to-have.
