Responsibilities
- Develop, test, debug, and maintain software applications, features, components, services, APIs, and software deployment solutions.
- Build and maintain software packaging and deployment capabilities for aspenONE software.
- Write clean, efficient, maintainable, and well-tested code using object-oriented programming and established engineering practices.
- Create and maintain unit and integration tests and troubleshoot software defects and regressions.
- Use AI-assisted development tools for coding, debugging, testing, review, refactoring, troubleshooting, learning, and documentation, while validating generated solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, design and technical discussions, knowledge sharing, and Agile development activities.
- Work with CI/CD pipelines and automated build, testing, and delivery processes.
- Collaborate with developers, QA, DevOps, product teams, and other stakeholders to deliver software solutions.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of professional software development experience developing and maintaining software applications or components.
- Proficiency in one or more of C#, C++, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, or similar modern programming languages.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, software design principles, and common design patterns.
- Experience with desktop and/or web application development and the software development lifecycle.
- Understanding of unit testing, integration testing, debugging, and defect resolution.
- Experience using AI-assisted software development tools and reviewing AI-generated code and recommendations.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git or Perforce.
- Familiarity with CI/CD, automated build and testing practices, and Agile software development.
- Good analytical, debugging, problem-solving, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness and ability to learn new technologies and continuously improve software development skills.
