Responsibilities
- Engage with complex utility customers to achieve their platform goals.
- Develop and execute customer engagement strategies with account teams.
- Coach account teams on positioning and adoption strategies.
- Influence stakeholders through complex engagements with the cloud ecosystem.
- Act as a trusted advisor for data analytics architecture and adoption.
- Contribute to community engagement by leading workshops and creating collateral.
Requirements
- Experience in complex customer interactions in a technical pre-sales capacity.
- Technical background in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, or Machine Learning/AI.
- Experience working with utility customers to establish the Databricks platform.
- Ability to prototype and create tailored solutions for customer challenges.
- High degree of autonomy in ambiguous environments.
- Strong relationship-building skills with decision-makers and C-level executives.
- Proficiency in a core programming language (Python or SQL) and willingness to learn Spark.
- Hands-on expertise with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google).
- Ability to provide technical solutions for specialized customer needs.
- Business professional fluency in Japanese is required; English proficiency is a plus.
