Responsibilities
- Present Snowflake’s technology and vision to prospect and customer executives and IT professionals.
- Demonstrate the value of Snowflake technology throughout the sales cycle through demonstrations, proofs of concept, and related activities.
- Understand competitors, relevant technologies, and vendors and determine how to position Snowflake.
- Collaborate with product management, engineering, and marketing on product improvements and marketing activities.
- Work with sales teams and channel partners to understand customer needs, plan opportunity support, and help drive deals through closing.
Requirements
- 7–8 years of industry experience, including at least 3 years in a presales environment.
- Strong presentation skills for both technical professionals and executives, including impromptu whiteboard presentations and demonstrations.
- Broad experience with large-scale databases, data warehouse technologies, ETL, analytics, and cloud technologies.
- Hands-on knowledge of SQL and SQL analytics.
- Ability to connect specific customer business challenges with Snowflake solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Fluency in Japanese and English.
