Responsibilities
- Participate in the full development lifecycle from analysis and design through deployment and third-line production support.
- Design applications at a low level and contribute to higher-level architecture decisions.
- Develop software for Citi’s next-generation Risk Management Platform.
- Provide technical guidance and influence junior team members.
- Collaborate with global teams to maintain high-quality code and support a common risk platform for trading businesses.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience in modern Java-based application development.
- Excellent understanding of core Java, Spring Boot, microservice architecture, and distributed-system design.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience with highly available, highly resilient, and low-latency applications is a plus.
- Knowledge of Kafka, Python, Docker, Kubernetes, ELK, MongoDB, and SQL is desirable.
- Experience in banking and financial services is desirable.
