Base Salary
$113k - $183k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop the full-stack simulation software stack for robotic applications.
- Build and maintain simulation, rendering, mapping, and 3D object manipulation capabilities.
- Write high-quality software, follow engineering best practices, and participate in code reviews.
- Contribute to software design, requirements discussions, brainstorming, and ideation.
- Collaborate with robotics and other teams to align implementation with their needs.
- Onboard peers and maintain CI/CD processes.
Requirements
- Experience building simulation and rendering platforms.
- Experience with 3D object rendering and manipulation.
- Experience with mapping technologies such as GIS, terrain mapping, or OpenLayers.
- Experience leveraging web graphics or animation standard libraries.
- Advanced knowledge of designing, building, and using open-source, published data, and APIs such as GraphQL.
- Experience designing, publishing, and maintaining SQL and NoSQL database schemas.
- Experience with engineering team best practices and processes.
- Experience with AI coding tools such as Claude, Copilot, or Cursor.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or Firebase.
- Experience with web automation tooling and CI/CD deployment, such as Webpack, ESLint, or Playwright.
- Top candidates have 5+ years of backend coding experience with Java or Node.js.
- Top candidates have 3+ years of frontend coding experience with HTML, CSS, or JavaScript.
- Top candidates have 3+ years of experience with Angular or React/Next.js.
- Top candidates have Python knowledge and experience with Nvidia Omniverse or another simulation platform.
