Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and support Electronic Data Delivery solutions and related systems.
- Build and troubleshoot backend logic, SQL processes, APIs, file-based integrations, automation, and data pipelines.
- Support data transformation, structured file exchange, data mapping, validation workflows, and delivery automation.
- Troubleshoot data issues, integration failures, validation errors, and delivery-process exceptions.
- Collaborate directly with business users to gather requirements, clarify issues, provide technical support, and explain technical problems.
- Contribute to broader software development initiatives when EDD workload allows.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on software development experience and demonstrated Electronic Data Delivery development or support experience.
- Strong understanding of structured data exchange, file transformation, data mapping, validation, and client-facing data delivery processes.
- Strong SQL experience including query development, stored procedures, and troubleshooting data issues.
- Experience with backend services, APIs, file-based integrations, automation, ETL/ELT, or data pipeline development.
- Ability to communicate effectively with business users, understand requirements, explain technical issues clearly, and work independently.
- C#/.NET experience is preferred; similar modern programming experience may be considered with strong backend and data integration experience.
- EQuIS/EarthSoft experience is strongly preferred.
- LIMS, environmental laboratory data, production laboratory support, or laboratory, healthcare, or other regulated-data-environment experience is preferred.
- PHP experience is a plus but is not required.
