Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, test, deploy, and support software solutions and web applications.
- Build backend services and APIs in C# and frontend components using React and Angular.
- Analyze requirements, systems, processes, performance issues, and solution options to determine feasible implementations.
- Develop scalable, high-quality software that meets functionality, performance, usability, and security needs.
- Own services and applications operating at scale, including mission-critical, high-availability systems.
- Create technical documentation, diagrams, code comments, and maintainable code.
- Configure and install solutions by defining system specifications, standards, and programming approaches.
- Collaborate with users, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to scope requirements, prototype ideas, and build products.
- Participate in interviewing, onboarding, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement across the engineering team.
- Apply software engineering best practices including code reviews, source control, build and release pipelines, automated testing, and monitoring/operations.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of professional software development experience involving web application development.
- Strong hands-on experience with .NET, C#, SQL Server, REST APIs, React, JavaScript, microservices, and Azure Cloud.
- Practical understanding and application of object-oriented programming and SOLID principles.
- Experience developing complex web systems and delivering them into production environments.
- Ability to take projects from requirements scoping through design, implementation, testing, deployment, and support.
- Experience with algorithmic, performance, and platform problem solving.
- Experience working with mission-critical, high-availability systems.
- Familiarity with coding standards, code reviews, Git or comparable source control, build and release pipelines, automated testing, and monitoring/operations.
- Ability and willingness to research and learn new technologies, frameworks, and tools.
