Base Salary
$165k - $230k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and ship features across the React/TypeScript web app, iOS app, and backend services.
- Own customer-facing features end to end, from problem definition and solution shaping through rollout and iteration.
- Identify user friction and advocate for improvements to clinic and patient experiences.
- Find and prioritize valuable problems without waiting for fully scoped tickets.
- Mentor engineers and improve how the team designs, reviews, and ships software.
- Influence product direction and technical decisions across the Practice Engineering product.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a software engineer building customer-facing products.
- Strong modern frontend skills in React and TypeScript, plus backend experience with API design, data modeling, and production databases.
- Experience building and shipping features on iOS alongside web applications.
- Track record of owning customer-facing features from problem definition through design, launch, and iteration.
- Experience partnering with product and design as a peer and contributing product ideas.
- Ability to work with high ownership and self-direction on a small, distributed team with little process.
- Clear written communication skills.
- Hands-on experience building with AI or agentic systems is a nice-to-have.
