Base Salary
$136k - $164k/yr
Responsibilities
- Manage a Commercial or Enterprise customer portfolio and monitor account health, product adoption, utilization, expansion opportunities, and churn or contraction risks
- Build relationships with technical customer stakeholders and identify how dbt Cloud can support their analytics needs
- Educate customers about new and existing dbt Cloud products and features
- Collaborate with Sales Directors and Solutions Architects on customer lifecycle and renewal activities
- Represent the customer in product discussions and participate in cross-functional initiatives
- Improve team processes, knowledge resources, and playbooks
- Create and deliver customer-facing content through events, blog posts, tutorials, and other formats
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in a post-sales role such as technical account manager or CSE
- Solid technical background in modern data warehousing architectures, the analytics stack, and SQL
- Comfort presenting to varied stakeholders, ideally in an externally facing role
- Ability to operate effectively in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment and handle customer conversations in real time
- Willingness to travel to internal and external events
- dbt certification or prior dbt experience is preferred
- Basic Python competency and advanced SQL knowledge are preferred
- Experience with ancillary tools, data infrastructure management, and APIs is preferred
