Base Salary
$140k - $175k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain integrations between the counter-drone system and external C2 platforms, sensor networks, enterprise systems, and mission systems.
- Develop and maintain APIs, data feeds, and messaging interfaces for reliable, low-latency exchange of detection, tracking, and status data.
- Implement and troubleshoot military and industry-standard data formats and messaging protocols.
- Gather requirements from customers, partners, and internal engineering teams and define interface control documents and technical specifications.
- Build and execute integration test plans, including simulation and hardware-in-the-loop testing.
- Support customer demonstrations, pilots, and field deployments by troubleshooting across the system, network, and receiving platform.
- Create and maintain integration documentation, interface specifications, and operational runbooks.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience as an integration engineer, systems integration engineer, or in a similar role integrating software products with external enterprise systems.
- Strong knowledge of APIs, REST/SOAP, messaging and pub/sub systems, JSON, XML, Protobuf, and middleware or integration patterns.
- Proficiency in at least one of Python, Kotlin, C++, or C#, with the ability to write production-quality integration code.
- Strong TCP/IP networking knowledge and the ability to troubleshoot across network, application, and data layers.
- Ability to work independently with customers and partners and own ambiguous integration problems end to end.
- U.S. citizenship is required for access to ITAR-controlled information.
- Must be willing to submit to a background check.
- Military C2 or mission-system integration experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with Cursor-on-Target, Link 16, VMF, STANAG 4586, TDL, TAK, or ATAK is preferred.
- Familiarity with Android Studio and Visual Studio is preferred.
- Defense, ITAR, CMMC, compliance-bound, defense-contractor, or DoD customer experience is preferred.
- Experience with radar, EO/IR, RF, telemetry, or counter-UAS systems is preferred.
- An active security clearance or eligibility to obtain one is preferred.
