Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Own the technical relationship with accelerated-computing and edge-AI partners from initial architecture sessions through production deployment.
- Design GPU-accelerated AWS infrastructure, including multi-node training clusters, EFA networking, high-performance storage, and container orchestration.
- Guide deployment and optimization of open-weight foundation models for cloud, edge, sovereign, and air-gapped environments.
- Architect DDIL and disconnected-compute solutions using NVIDIA Jetson, IGX, embedded GPU platforms, AWS Outposts, and ECS Anywhere.
- Lead model optimization and right-sizing using quantization, distillation, pruning, LoRA, and QLoRA.
- Conduct architecture reviews, Well-Architected assessments, proof-of-concept builds, benchmarks, and reusable technical-content development.
- Develop relationships with partner CTOs, engineering leaders, and public-sector stakeholders and translate technical capabilities into mission outcomes.
- Drive AWS product feature requests and evaluate model accuracy, latency, throughput, GPU utilization, reliability, and cost.
- Travel approximately 30% for partner visits, customer engagements, and industry events.
Requirements
- 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting experience in applications and infrastructure.
- 8+ years of experience in relevant technology domains such as systems engineering, infrastructure, GPU or accelerated computing, networking, security, or cloud architecture.
- Experience developing and deploying production LLMs on GPUs, Neuron, TPU, or other AI acceleration hardware, or experience with PyTorch, JIT compilation, and AOT tracing.
- Experience with containerized and distributed computing architectures such as Kubernetes, ECS, or EKS.
- US citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance.
- Preferred experience working with end-user or developer communities and with partner sales or alliance development.
- Deep familiarity with NVIDIA CUDA, TensorRT, Triton Inference Server, NIM microservices, Jetson, IGX, and NVIDIA AI Enterprise.
- Hands-on experience with Llama, Mistral, Falcon, Phi, Gemma, vLLM, TensorRT-LLM, quantization, and LoRA fine-tuning.
- Experience with edge, disconnected, DDIL, and hybrid-cloud architectures, including AWS Outposts and ECS Anywhere.
- 5+ years of infrastructure architecture experience involving InfiniBand, RDMA, EFA, distributed storage, and cluster management.
- Defense or Intelligence Community experience and familiarity with IL4/IL5/IL6, NIST 800-53, CMMC, FedRAMP, and ITAR.
