Responsibilities
- Translate business requirements into technical architecture solutions for digital products and services.
- Assess proposed designs and explain recommended solutions.
- Enforce technology policies, processes, frameworks, governance standards, and reusable architecture patterns.
- Present architecture proposals, project findings, and technology recommendations to business stakeholders.
- Oversee hiring and training of team members.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, quality assurance professionals, and other stakeholders.
- Make technology, architecture, and implementation-strategy decisions while identifying and mitigating technical risks.
- Drive projects forward through setbacks and promote innovation and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a STEM major.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience designing cloud infrastructure with commercial or enterprise products.
- Experience designing and deploying AI-enabled business solutions using LLMs, RAG, AI agents, enterprise data architecture, security, governance, and cloud AI platforms.
- Technical knowledge of cloud compute, networking, cybersecurity, container engines, databases, storage, and CI/CD.
- Experience with CloudFormation, Terraform, Python, Java, or PowerShell.
- Experience with infrastructure as code and tools including AWS CloudFormation, AWS CodeBuild, AWS CodeDeploy, and GitHub Actions.
- Strong communication skills for working with stakeholders, team members, and other departments.
- Ability to address and resolve technical and managerial challenges.
