Base Salary
$192k - $248k/yr
Responsibilities
- Partner with Account Executives, Portfolio Account Teams, partners, and cross-functional Cisco teams to drive customer business and growth opportunities.
- Capture customer requirements and map them to appropriate technical products, architectures, and solutions.
- Design and configure Routing, Switching, Wireless, and secure networking solutions for on-premises and cloud deployments.
- Lead RFP responses, product demonstrations, proof-of-concept labs, and technical capability presentations.
- Perform network design and communicate technical architectures, product benefits, differentiation, and operational characteristics to customer decision-makers.
- Enable Cisco technology capabilities internally and externally, maintain competitive knowledge, and anticipate customer needs based on market and industry trends.
- Collaborate with Cisco business entities to influence product features and capabilities roadmaps.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience sizing and designing Routing, Wireless, and Switching deployments in on-premises and cloud environments.
- At least 5 years of networking protocol experience with TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and LISP, plus network segmentation technologies including VRF, MPLS, Zero Trust, SDA, 802.1X, and Adaptive Policy.
- Understanding of competitive networking products such as HPE/Aruba, Juniper, Arista, and Fortinet.
- Typically requires a BS/BA, preferably in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- Pre-sales experience and strong customer-facing, critical-thinking, communication, and prioritization skills are preferred.
- Cisco or non-Cisco certifications such as CCIE, CCDE, CCNP, DevNet, AWS, Google, or Terraform are a plus.
- API and programmability knowledge is a plus.
