Responsibilities
- Contribute to availability management and analyze service and component availability, reliability, maintainability, and serviceability.
- Ensure services and components meet performance targets and service levels.
- Implement and test disaster recovery arrangements and document recovery procedures.
- Confirm that developed products meet service acceptance criteria and support change management processes.
- Track, log, and correct configuration-item information while protecting assets and components from unauthorized change or inappropriate use.
- Develop, document, and implement approved changes using change-control procedures.
- Perform release and deployment activities and review system software updates.
- Investigate and coordinate resolution of potential and actual service problems.
- Prepare and maintain operational documentation for system software.
- Create, manage, and maintain DevOps pipelines.
- Implement full-stack monitoring for infrastructure, cloud platforms, operating systems, applications, and telemetry.
- Explore new technologies and participate in pilots, proofs of concept, and technology evaluations.
Requirements
- More than two years of IT experience.
- More than two years of experience building and maintaining systems in AWS or Azure.
- More than two years of experience with DevOps or AppOps.
- Recent experience designing and implementing complex, highly available, and highly scalable solutions.
- Experience with web application operations, Docker, and Kubernetes is required.
- Experience with infrastructure as code using Terraform is required.
- Experience with Python, PowerShell, or shell scripting.
- Experience deploying web applications, web services, and applications hosted on IIS, Azure Service Environments, or Azure Service Fabric.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
