Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and release web and mobile applications.
- Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to understand requirements and design software solutions.
- Develop presentation-layer applications using APIs and microservices architecture.
- Create unit and automation test scripts within a test-driven development lifecycle.
- Contribute to coding best practices and assist with code merges and releases.
- Perform other assigned duties and comply with organizational policies and standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Typically 5+ years of hands-on object-oriented programming experience with Java or Python and/or JavaScript UI frameworks.
- Experience with AngularJS or ReactJS and modern UI framework development.
- Experience with microservices architecture, end-to-end UI/API integration, and API protocols including REST, gRPC, and GraphQL.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle phases and coding and testing best practices.
- Knowledge of caching technologies and database management systems such as Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
- Ability to understand complex business problems and design high-quality technical solutions.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
