Base Salary
$151k - $227k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using object-oriented languages.
- Implement data processing workflows with Apache Spark or similar frameworks.
- Develop scalable data access layers and efficient querying algorithms.
- Maintain cloud-native services on container orchestration platforms.
- Design and validate API contracts and service interfaces.
- Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines for reliable software delivery.
- Instrument applications for observability and system transparency.
- Investigate and resolve software defects or performance issues.
- Collaborate with teams to convert business requirements into technical designs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- Working knowledge of at least one programming language, including Java, Scala, or Python.
- Experience with container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes and Docker.
- Familiarity with designing and validating API contracts and service interfaces.
- Experience implementing CI/CD workflows, including Gitlab CI.
- Knowledge of observability practices such as metrics and structured logging.
- Ability to diagnose and debug software issues using logs and system metrics.
