Responsibilities
- Deliver scoped technical implementations for international public-sector customers as a hands-on engineering partner.
- Build applications, prototypes, and evaluations using supported model APIs, Codex, and other approved OpenAI technologies.
- Help government and public-sector stakeholders identify valuable GenAI applications and develop AI roadmaps and backlogs.
- Design architectures and guide deployments from prototype through production while addressing data, inference, evaluation, and production-readiness boundaries.
- Manage relationships with customer and implementation-partner leadership and stakeholders to support successful deployment and scale.
- Contribute to open-source developer and enterprise resources, internal and external repositories, notebooks, and documented best practices.
- Provide high-signal feedback to Product, Engineering, and Research teams.
- Work across multiple concurrent projects, support target-region business hours, and travel when required for customer delivery.
Requirements
- Substantial technical consulting or hands-on delivery experience with international public-sector or similarly regulated customers.
- Experience leading GenAI or traditional ML implementations for government agencies in collaboration with systems integrators and implementation partners.
- Understanding of network and cloud architecture, including on-premise deployments.
- Practical judgment regarding privacy, data residency, model-inference location, sovereign or regulated environments, identity, procurement, and customer authorization.
- Programming experience in languages such as Python, Go, or TypeScript.
- Ability to communicate business and technical topics to public-sector executives, delivery partners, and legal and security stakeholders, including across cultures.
- Ability to own problems end-to-end, learn missing subject matter quickly, manage multiple concurrent projects, and prioritize effectively.
- Existing UK Developed Vetting (DV) clearance is strongly preferred, particularly for UK intelligence and defense work.
