Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Extreme Cloud products and services.
- Participate in developing the Edge Cloud Support System.
- Troubleshoot and follow up on cloud infrastructure and application issues.
- Support continuous cloud service operations across US, EU, and China teams.
- Collaborate with Dev/QA and external carriers to resolve and prevent issues.
- Improve and implement deployment automation for Kubernetes-based microservices.
- Improve service availability and scalability through tuning, automation, tools, and process improvements.
- Analyze service performance, identify bottlenecks, and provide actionable improvement plans.
- Provide 24/7 support for Edge Cloud products and services.
- Participate in cloud security and compliance implementation.
Requirements
- A BS-level technical degree is required, with Computer Science or Engineering preferred.
- At least five years of CloudOps or DevOps experience is required.
- Hands-on experience with AWS or another public cloud such as Azure or GCP is required.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes-based container architecture and deployment is required.
- Hands-on experience developing deployment automation with ArgoCD, Terraform, and Helm is required.
- Experience diagnosing and resolving complex application problems is required.
- Working knowledge of Linux, security, and networking fundamentals is required.
- Working knowledge of Elasticsearch, PostgreSQL, Redis, Ignite, Kafka, and RabbitMQ is required.
- Ability to work comfortably with distributed teams across multiple time zones is required.
