Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture and design of secure, scalable cloud-native solutions across Azure, AWS, GCP, and Alibaba Cloud.
- Design, govern, and scale core cloud infrastructure, internal developer platforms, and multi-cloud strategies.
- Define PaaS, container, serverless, microservices, API-first, and event-driven architecture patterns.
- Drive legacy modernization and migration from IaaS to PaaS-first models.
- Establish reusable architecture standards, templates, governance processes, and architectural decision records.
- Partner with business, engineering, security, and technology stakeholders to align solutions with business, security, and compliance outcomes.
- Contribute to AI platform architecture, including Generative AI, LLM integration, and Azure AI-enabled solutions.
- Promote DevOps, infrastructure automation, observability, monitoring, performance, and resilience practices.
- Mentor engineers, lead design reviews, and contribute to technical direction and roadmap planning.
- Apply responsible AI principles covering governance, security, and ethical considerations.
Requirements
- Typically 10+ years of experience in cloud architecture, with strong Microsoft Azure experience.
- Proven experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale cloud-native distributed systems.
- Strong knowledge of microservices, APIs, event-driven architecture, containers, and Kubernetes, including AKS.
- Deep understanding of cloud security, networking, landing zones, and governance principles.
- Experience translating business needs into scalable technical solutions.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder-influencing skills.
- Experience in multi-cloud environments is preferred.
- Exposure to AI/ML or Generative AI platform design is preferred.
- Experience in regulated industries such as financial services or healthcare is preferred.
- Familiarity with Terraform, Bicep, Infrastructure as Code, and DevOps practices is preferred.
