Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain complex software applications.
- Lead code reviews and technical delivery while ensuring code quality and knowledge sharing.
- Own technical direction, application health, engineering standards, and technology delivery across products and domains.
- Provide hands-on troubleshooting, performance tuning, reliability improvements, and technical debt remediation.
- Evaluate tools, technologies, and development processes to improve product-platform quality.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, constructive feedback, and, where applicable, line management for junior software engineers.
- Manage tasks and priorities, communicate with stakeholders, and support timely delivery.
- Maintain governance and custodianship activities for technology assets.
- Drive innovation, participate in technical communities, and identify opportunities benefiting the organization.
- Apply AI concepts and tools to solve routine problems.
Requirements
- Deep system-design expertise and broad technical understanding of the ecosystem supporting the domain.
- Proficiency in at least two programming languages.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, prioritization, and critical-thinking skills.
- Strong understanding of security principles and secure coding practices.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Ability to lead technical delivery, mentor engineers, influence stakeholders, and make strategic decisions.
- Ability to apply traditional and agile best practices to plan, prioritize, and deliver work efficiently.
- Ability to assess performance and provide constructive, forward-looking feedback.
