Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end architecture for AI-powered developer tooling and agentic platforms across data, model, application, integration, orchestration, and infrastructure layers.
- Define technical vision, reference architectures, architectural standards, and architecture decision records for engineering teams.
- Design LLM-based and agentic systems using model selection, retrieval-augmented generation, tool and function calling, orchestration, evaluation, and guardrails.
- Architect for scalability, resilience, latency, observability, disaster recovery, security, privacy, auditability, and cost efficiency.
- Evaluate AI models, frameworks, vendors, and enterprise platform integration patterns.
- Review solution designs and prototype architecture patterns using AI tooling and development frameworks.
- Partner with engineering, infrastructure, security, compliance, business, and other stakeholders to align architecture with enterprise priorities and regulatory constraints.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of experience in solution architecture across application, data, integration, and infrastructure domains.
- At least 6 years of cloud-native architecture experience using AWS, Azure, or GCP, including microservices, APIs, containers, and distributed systems.
- At least 6 years of experience designing AI and LLM-based systems with retrieval-augmented generation, orchestration workflows, tool calling, model evaluation, and guardrail patterns.
- At least 6 years of secure architecture experience involving identity and access management, data protection, audit logging, and privacy controls in regulated environments.
- At least 6 years of experience defining non-functional architecture requirements such as scalability, resilience, latency, observability, disaster recovery, and cost optimization.
- At least 6 years of experience documenting architecture standards, reference architectures, and architecture decision records.
- At least 6 years of experience prototyping and validating designs with Python, TypeScript, Java, or Go in enterprise software environments.
- At least 6 years of an equivalent combination of educational background, related experience, and/or military experience.
- Preferred experience includes financial services platforms, MLOps or LLMOps, model deployment and monitoring, prompt versioning, regression testing, multi-agent orchestration, enterprise tool integration, and presenting architecture decisions to senior stakeholders.
- TOGAF, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud architecture certification is preferred.
