Responsibilities
- Design, develop, improve, and deliver high-quality software solutions using Python and related frameworks and tools.
- Build Generative AI applications using LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering, AI agents, and conversational AI.
- Develop and consume APIs and integrate enterprise applications, databases, and cloud services.
- Use AWS Bedrock and associated AWS services to implement AI platform capabilities.
- Ensure software is scalable, maintainable, performant, secure, and well tested.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers on requirements, solution strategies, integration, and delivery.
- Participate in code reviews, promote code quality and knowledge sharing, and contribute to technology communities.
- Follow software engineering, risk management, security, testing, and delivery processes.
Requirements
- 3-4 years of hands-on software development experience.
- Strong Python proficiency, including API development, object-oriented programming, testing, and code optimization.
- Experience building Generative AI applications with LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering, AI agents, and conversational AI.
- Hands-on experience with AWS Bedrock and AWS services including Lambda, S3, API Gateway, CloudWatch, IAM, and Step Functions.
- Experience developing and consuming APIs and integrating enterprise applications, databases, and cloud services.
- Knowledge of software engineering practices including Git, code reviews, DevOps automation, and agile development.
- Experience with Bedrock KnowledgeBase, FAISS, ChromaDB, or other vector database technologies is desirable.
- Experience with React, Angular, or modern frontend frameworks is desirable.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, containerized deployments, and cloud-native architectures is desirable.
- AWS Cloud, AWS AI/ML, or Generative AI certifications are desirable.
